FESTIVAL IS BACK!!! COME BE PART OF IT!!! astoriascanfest.com

All the Nordic lodges in Astoria will be coming together to hold the in-person Midsummer Festival this year. The Danes will be participating with their food booth, where we will serve:

• pickled herring ($3 per cup)

• aebleskiver (3 for $3)

• frikadeller, red cabbage, and rye bread ($5 for the meal)

• coffee, juice, water (50 cents, 25 cents, and $1 respectively)

If you want to learn to cook Danish foods, make new friends, and meet up with old friends, then please consider signing up for any or all of the following:

• making/cooking foods in late May before Festival (this is in lieu of our May meeting)

• booth set-up on Wed or Thu evening the 15th and 16th of June

• one or more 2-hour shifts during Festival (sign up sheets available in May)

This is our big fundraiser that supports our Jul Parti, Fastelavn Parti, and other Society activities.
